The Ninja400R Race Spec Shift Star is machined from an OEM shift star with a more aggressive profile and sharper gear points to give more concise shifts and reduce or eliminate the annoying false neutrals than can easily happen between gears with the OEM shift star. We recommend using our Heavy Detent Spring with this shift star for the best results.
