Description
The NortonFab Motorsports R3 Supersport Seat is designed as a direct replacement for the OEM seat but raises the seat height 1-1.5″ from the OEM position. This taller seat height provides a much sportier riding position for the R3 as well as raising the rider up to allow room for higher rearsets to give the R3 a proper supersport feel and better ground clearance. The OEM seat foam is only about 1/2″ thick which makes the seat very hard. This seat is made with extra firm foam, but because it is 1.5″ thick, it is still softer than the OEM seat and extremely comfortable for sporty riding or long distance riding.
The Supersport Seat is designed to be used together with the NortonFab Motorsports Rearset Riser kit and aftermarket clipons such as the Vortex or Woodcraft to give the R3 sportier ergonomics.
This seat is designed to work with OEM bodywork or aftermarket fiberglass race bodywork, however, if your bike is for race use, I strongly recommend using the Hotbodies Race Tank Cover/SBK Seat instead.
