This is an OEM replacement grip for the left (clutch) side handle bar for the Yamaha R3.
If you are replacing your OEM clipons with aftermarket clipons, it is very difficult to remove the clutch side OEM grip without destroying it. You can save yourself a bunch of time and headache by just purchasing an extra OEM left side grip to install on the new clipons.
