Description

The Norton Racing Adjustable Rearset Riser Kit allows you to use the OEM rearsets for the Kawasaki Ninja 400, Z400 or 500 and raise them up and move them back for a more aggressive riding position and increased ground clearance.  These riser plates are designed by us for aggressive riding and racing and have a larger change from the OEM position than some other options on the market.

These riser plates are the result of extensive testing and racing with many different rearsets available on the market.  We have narrowed the adjustment range down to a few positions that offer optimal ergonomics for a fraction of the cost of high end aftermarket rearsets.  Adjustment range is similar to Evol Technology Race Version and Sato Racing Race Concept Rearsets.  Simply bolt these adjustment plates to the OEM mounting locations, and then attach your OEM rearsets.

Adjustment options are (measured from OEM location):

46mm up and 42mm back

46mm up and 52mm back

56mm up and 52mm back

These sturdy risers are CNC laser cut from 1/4″ thick steel to withstand the abuse of track use and racing.  They are laser engraved with the Norton Racing logo and include all stainless steel mounting hardware.  This kit includes a longer stainless steel shift rod that will allow you to use standard shift pattern or reversed (GP) shift pattern.

Yup I have these and they’re set all the way back on the blocks and love the egos I have for foot placement.

I’d bought a set of Arashi rear sets Version 2 and although they weight less and looked amazing over the Norton’s I kept the Norton’s as I could not get the ergos any better on the bike.

Very happy with the set and now a permanent fixture on the bike.
My only complaint is there’s rust starting to firm on the Norton logo because the bike got wet coming home from a track day. 🤨

All in all a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating from me.

These rearset risers do exactly as advertised, getting your feet higher up and further back. They should have however come with some sort of instructions. It took me a while to realize you have to cut the plastic covering the front sprocket. Otherwise the shifter linkage will rub.

Hey Jonathan! Glad you like the rearsets. As with all parts, we always recommend professional installation. For standard shift, you do not need to make any modifications, for GP shift either remove the sprocket cover or use the correct aftermarket shift arm.

Just installed today and it was super quick and easy! I use GP shift and the provided connecting rod was perfect. No cutting needed and shifts perfectly! Awesome kit, Norton! Well done 🙌🏻
