How to change the Yamaha R3 / MT-03 to GP Shift

Here’s a couple photos from the guys at Hard Racing showing a quick and dirty way to change the Yamaha R3 to GP shift using the stock foot pegs.  You will need a longer stainless steel shift rod, they used an extra one they had laying around and cut it short then re-threaded the end to test and see if it worked and it seemed to work pretty well.  The other option would be to buy a set of rearset risers which will give you a more aggressive riding position and include a longer shift rod and clearance to change to GP shift.
