aRacer SpeedTek RC Mini 5 Race ECU (US Model) – Yamaha R3 / MT-03 (Clearance – Discontinued)

Description

The aRacer SpeedTek RC Mini 5 is an extremely powerful, programmable and budget friendly, race ECU for the Yamaha R3. Other fuel controllers such as Power Commander, Bazzaz, and Rapidbike are called “Piggyback” style controllers because they work together with the stock ECU to make small incremental adjustments to the fuel and ignition signal AFTER the OEM ECU. Because of this, you are still limited by any restrictions, fuel maps, throttle maps, injector timing maps, and many other features that are programmed into the bike’s stock ECU. The Mini X actually replaces the stock ECU, and plugs into the OEM connector in place of the stock ECU. All restrictions and limitations found in the stock ECU are removed with it, and all engine parameters can be fully programmed using the Mini X to maximize the performance of the Yamaha R3 engine using the aRacer SpeedTek tuning software via laptop or smart phone! Additional features can also be added and customized such as quickshifter and wide band autotuning.

Installing a race ECU could not be easier.  Simply unplug the stock ECU, and plug in the aRacer Speedtek RC Mini 5 ECU to the stock connector.  That’s it!  Just be careful with the connector on the stock ECU, it has a special locking piece, so don’t force it. Even the additional aRacer Quickshifter plugs directly into the OEM O2 sensor connector (OEM O2 sensor is removed) and uses the stock wiring.  Pretty awesome.
